I have assisted clients, including government bodies, domestic and international funds and banks, successfully prepare and effectively implement FATCA and CRS into their business operations. I am also a member of the PwC Asset Management network with responsibilities in the area of alternative investments, tax risks and PwC’s AEOI services globally. I have also been involved in providing tax advice to Irish and foreign domiciled, locally administered investment funds. I have been actively involved in providing advice in relation to the withholding and capital gains tax implications of the global investment strategies of traditional and alternative funds. I advise fund managers on the tax implications of the distribution of offshore products into the UK and the application of the UK Offshore Funds Regime. I also have significant experience in the more technical aspects of the Offshore Funds (Tax) Regulations. I have several years experience working on the audit side. I have extensive knowledge of operations at the various administrators and have built up a good working relationship with them throughout the years. I have experience of companies reporting under IFRS, Irish GAAP and US GAAP. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland and am also a member of the Irish Taxation Institute.
