Lyston Lea is a I retired from the United States Intelligence Community (IC) in March 2022 as a Senior Executive. My objective now is to help solve difficult economic, security and environmental issues, bringing with me nearly 40 years’ experience as a positive leader at the heart of U.S. National Security decision-making. Some questions I’m focused on include: How can the IC better support policymakers, industry, and non-governmental organizations on mitigating the climate crisis? What is the best way to leverage IC capabilities in the polar regions? What is the IC’s most cost-effective solutions to closing gaps in maritime domain awareness? Has the IC’s engagement on combatting global illegal fishing made meaningful progress? As a recognized leader who builds trusted, stable, and enduring relationships within the U.S. Interagency, across industry, international organizations and with non-traditional intelligence community partners, I’m looking to identify and address global challenges and opportunities and develop collaborative solutions.
