I've been in the fitness space for 11 years-- started in college after gaining the infamous freshman 15 and found a passion for weight training. I continued my education in psychology and began working in the corporate sphere. I was doing Crossfit 5x week and working a high stress job in a 24/7 industry... and developed an autoimmune disease (Graves). My health plummeted. I got weak. I went from squatting 200 to barely handling the 45 lb bar. I had to take Benadryl every night to even try and sleep. Crippling anxiety. Debilitating migraines. I even wound up in the ER thinking I had a stroke one night after the right side of my body felt numb. I KNEW I couldn't be the leader I wanted to be feeling like this...so I hired a coach to help me and it completely changed my life. You see, I could workout all day. But I was missing key elements to my well-being. I realized it's not just our workouts that make us healthy. We must address stress, key lifestyle factors, and really get to the root cause. Fast forward a few years (and a baby!) and I decided to pivot and take this knowledge and experience to help others looking to transform their lives to feel good and live a lifestyle that supports their goals that have nothing to do with fitness.
