After years of preparing myself for whichever career I would inevitably choose, instead, I found the courage not to choose. Since then, I’ve lived a life without sacrifice: I’ve played drums in and outside the US on numerous stages in front of thousands, I’ve created and produced my own content which is quickly approaching 2 Million views, and my technical know-how lead me to build and operate entertainment systems and experiences for hundreds of thousands of guests at music festivals, theme parks, and large conventions. I’ve found the most fulfilling way to incorporate all that I’ve learned and experienced so far is through drumming and filmmaking. I’m too passionate about drumming to ever stop, and I’ve found success in unconventional ways. Years ago, while exploring these “unconventional ways”, I stumbled into Videography. I quickly learned: though filmmaking is regarded as an artistic and creative medium, producing films is highly technical. After years of learning the craft, my ability to utilize my advanced technical expertise in this artistic/creative environment has landed me the opportunity to produce short films, create web series, film YouTube and social media content, earn a clothing brand endorsement, and most recently, attain a role as a filmmaker for Knotts’s Berry/Scary Farm. I’m glad I had the courage not to choose, and instead continued to develop each of my interests. They’ve all lead me to unforgettable experiences and my current opportunities to create amazing stories and experiences for others. Life is too short to give up on your passions, and it’s possible, now more than ever, to pursue them fruitfully.
