I am CURRENTLY attending Wilmington University to get my Bachellors in Allied Health. I have worked as a community educator for Christiana Care Family and Community Medicine and as Medical Assitant with Pulmonary Associates with the same organization. I have done a lot of community outreach with the health ambassadors, health guides and cancer center outreach. While in Pulmonary I got to know a lot of different departments while assisting them in covering shifts for their medical Assistants and their office Assistants, most recent coverage was Palliative Care at the Cancer Center in Newark DE where I acted as a Medical Assistant/Office Assistant/ Nurse for more then 4th months. I love working for the community and do volunteer myself to help out the community with community events. During my transition to the United Stated I always encounter so many barriers in the Healthcare Field and that is the main reason I am here...to Help. It is very challenging out there specially with minorities but I do have to say that It is never too late and do not give up.
