At The Fund, she pursued intersectional public policy-focused grantmaking and new collaboratives to advance racial and social justice in areas including public health and environment, immigrant rights, criminal justice reform, equitable public education, climate justice and resiliency, LGBTQ issues, and public media. Previously, Lucy provided leadership and advanced public policy solutions to support affordable housing, community development, and resilient communities through professional roles in the non-profit and government sectors, including roles as Executive Director of the State of New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing, Senior Policy Advisor for the New Jersey Office of the Governor, and Associate Director for the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey. Lucy currently serves as a Trustee of the Council of New Jersey Grantmakers (CNJG) as well as Co-chair of its Policy Committee. In addition to her statewide leadership roles, Lucy is committed to the health and well-being of her community of Trenton, New Jersey where she has resided for 20 years with her wife and two children. She has served on her local City of Trenton Board of Education and as Chair of the City of Trenton Green Team. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., Honors Program) and Rutgers University (M.S.W., Administration Policy, and Planning).
