Ms. Holden’s repertoire also includes having been a professional visual and performing artist, and a federal employee for the U.S. Coast Guard in the United States and for the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait City, Kuwait. She is an award-winning screenwriter who earned her Master of Arts (with honors) from American University in 2003. She worked in the development department for HBO Films, and in the executive office of Paradigm Talent Agency in California. Her managerial career began in retail and transitioned to nonprofit for a disability advocacy organization in Washington, D.C. Ms. Holden earned a B.A.A. (with honors) from The American College for the Applied Arts in Atlanta, Georgia, and has been a certified professional with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2016.
