I have earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and I am currently working on my third year as a graduate student at Lenoir-Rhyne University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program. I expect to graduate with a master's degree in 2024, and I plan to be a licensed professional counselor associate (LPCA). Additionally, I have had a variety of work experiences as I took on jobs to pay my tuition. I worked as a student library assistant for two consecutive years as an undergraduate student, and I currently have been working as a graduate library supervisor at Lenoir-Rhyne University for the past three years. I learned to be proactive, train new workers, act in a leadership position, and give excellent customer service. I have also worked at Frye Regional Medical Center for roughly two years as a patient access representative. In this role, I became familiar with HIPAA compliance policies, handling medical insurance, providing financial guidance, accepting large payments in cash or check, and notating patient records.
