While being seconded as a long term national expert to EUIPO (then OHIM) handling all Danish examination cases and drafting oppositions I also shared my European knowledge co-authored with Solvår Winnie Finnanger “Trademark Protection in the European Union with a Scandinavian View”, published by Thomson Reuters. Reviewed in UfR 4/2011 page 42. Gorrissen Federspiel shaped my skills as a lawyer handling due diligences, port folios and conflicts. In the 4 ½ years at Gorrissen Federspiel, I commercialized my legal skills further and also had time to teach and contribute as a Blogger at the Kluwer Trademark Blog. In 2017 I was admitted to the Danish Bar. Additionally, I have written comment in European Intellectual Property Review (eipr), volume 39, issue 12, 2017 on ‘Geographical Indications are strong IP rights – or should be…’ and articles in Trademark Review. Since 2019, I was ranked by Managing Intellectual Property as a Rising Star, now listed as a Notable Practitioner. Further, I am also featured as a Recommended Individual in the WTR 1000 by the World Trademark Review.
