With a long career focused in the health sciences and public safety, I am passionate about helping and teaching others to perform better and live better. This includes helping the companies that employee these individuals reach the best practice standards in the industry to better serve the community. I have held many different roles over my career – production specialist supervisor, accreditation specialist, customer service representative, paramedic, dialysis technician, polysomngrapher, 911 call taker, dispatcher, and communications supervisor. Working these different positions have allowed me to gain a broad array of knowledge allowing for me to be able to look at a problem from many different perspectives. In all of these occupations, I have undertaken the part of an educator, having the responsibility of teaching people the skills of the trade and helping them perform to the best of their ability. I am very detail oriented and always looking for ways to improve existing systems. I am honest, dependable, and always give my all. I currently hold a Bachelors Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences from Lamar University and am currently in the process of completing my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the same university. My heart is with first responders and want to help them perform to their very best through education and working with them through their struggles.
