Lorna had experience in direct sales and retail sales prior to starting a family business with her husband and sons in 1999. She divided her time between the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region and The Bevelled Edge for 12 years. Lorna retired from health care in January 2011 and has been acting as general manager of The Bevelled Edge Countertops since then.
