The following schools were attended and completed successfully: • 1968-1974: Jozef School, Hillegom, The Netherlands (Elementary School). • 1974-1980: Atheneum Hageveld, Heemstede, The Netherlands. • 1980-1986: Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands. Obtained a Cum Laude degree on Applied Mathematics Faculty of the Delft University of Technology (thesis on conical flows around supersonic delta-wings). • 1986-1990: PhD, Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands. Obtained the PhD degree on Applied Mathematics Faculty of the Delft University of Technology. PhD work completed with a thesis on the mathematical modeling of two-phase bubbly flows. After his PhD A.J.N. Vreenegoor joined Shell in June 1990, starting his career in the Equipment Engineering (EE) Department at KSLA: the Royal Dutch Shell Laboratory in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, presently named Shell Technology Center Amsterdam (STCA). After a 1-year assignment (July 1995 – June 1996) at Shell Oil’s Westhollow Technology Center (WTC) in Houston (Texas, US), he returned at STCA as Team Leader Multiphase Flow of the OGUF Fluid Flow Business Group (BG), part of a Research and Technical Services organization that was soon to be transferred into a new technology company providing technical services to Shell and non-Shell companies on a fully commercial basis: Shell Global Solutions, where he was appointed Business Team Manager (BTM) of the OGUA Flow Assurance BG. A second international assignment followed from 2003 to 2006, where he combined his BTM duties with technical work in the Flow Assurance Systems Team. In 2006 he relocated back to Amsterdam to become the Regional Manager of the GSUF Fluid Flow & Flow Assurance Delivery Group (DG). As of January 2010 A.J.N. Vreenegoor is the manager of the new Pipelines, Flow Assurance & Subsea Systems delivery group.
