Literacy education is the core of all academic success and developing an early, confident reader is fundamental for this success. My commitment to education goes beyond the classroom. I am a member of several professional organizations and I am currently part of the NASA funded WGBH initiative, Bringing the Universe into America’s Classroom to be developed in collaboration with NASA and other teachers throughout the United States. Libraries are changing, no longer being the land of the “quietness.” Libraries are the heart of the school that can provide dynamic opportunities for all students, at all levels!
