Getting an in vivo study design right the first time is key to assisting our clients with their overall product development and testing goals. As an Associate Scientific Director at Surpass, Inc. I was responsible for managing the scientific staff and providing scientific expertise to the business development group. Prior to Surpass, I was at 3M in the Pharmaceutical Division working on the Immune Response Modifier program, Pharmacokinetics/Drug Metabolism group. I conducted preclinical GLP toxicokinetic studies and non-GLP research studies. I participated as a core team member in product development groups where I was responsible for all aspects of the preclinical PK/DM portions of IND submissions. Prior to 3M, I was with the ALZA Corporation working on the iontophoretic drug delivery platform, a wonderfully complicated technology. I've had a well rounded career gaining knowledge in pharmaceuticals, PK, combination products, marketing, budgets, customer service, project management, regulatory submission, interventional and surgical medical devices, study design, GLP, and many more areas. I am honest, dedicated, flexible, analytical, and enjoy working with teams as well as independently. I love the medical research arena and I am proud to be able to give something back to society and contribute to improving medical outcomes for patients all over the world.
