I am the lead singer and songwriter of a folk duo called “Ned and Wendy the Band”, which I formed with my husband Jordan. I am also the band manager, a role which covers everything from PR and booking to music production and video editing. Since forming in 2020, we’ve released two albums, five singles, and an award winning musical documentary called Welcome Home Ned and Wendy, which premiered at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Most recently, we have begun developing a radio show for KXRW, in which we would interview and provide a platform to local artists, venue managers, producers, labels and more. I have the experience and leadership capacity of a marketing professional. As Marketing Manager for BodyVox (dance center and professional company), I direct my passion towards understanding the vision, brand, and narrative of a non-profit arts organization. I head all local and national media relations, provide in-house graphic design services, and manage the execution of print, digital, and word of mouth campaigns. I bring with me the critical thinking skills and conceptual capacity gained from a dedicated academic journey, which culminated in May, 2020, when I graduated from NYU’s Music Business program with a Masters degree - an achievement made even more challenging as my final semester of classes and colloquy-editing occurred in remote isolation. I see obstacles as opportunities and never as dead-ends. I take on new projects with humility, curiosity, and a willingness to fail and, in turn, grow. I am a big picture thinker with the work ethic and grit to execute and bring concepts to fruition.
