Linda MedinaLopez Email & Phone Number | Linda Medina-Lopez currently serves as the Executive Director for the Pflugerville Education Foundation (PEF). PEF is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that awards grants for innovative and creative teaching methods that lead to improved student success in Pflugerville ISD. She has spent her career supporting causes that are meaningful to her by creating partnerships and connecting leaders to impactful initiatives. Linda serves on the UT System's Chancellor's Centurion Advisory Council to address education and healthcare issues that affect all Texans. She is a member of the Inaugural Austin Business Journal's Bizwomen Leadership Council. At the local level, she supports her children's school by serving as the 23-25 PTA Spirit Day Chair (Business Partnership Fundraising Program). In 2006, Linda founded the Young Hispanic Professional Association of Austin (YHPAA), a non-profit that provides leadership opportunities for young Latino professionals. YHPAA provides college scholarships for rising high school seniors. In 2007, she co-founded the El Paso in Austin Network, an organization that connects and recognizes fellow El Pasoans in Austin and awards college scholarships for deserving El Paso seniors coming to Austin to study. In the summer of 2021, Linda co-founded Latinos in Round Rock. She has served on numerous boards including, Leadership Austin, City of Austin Commission for Women, SXSWedu Advisory Council, UTEP Alumni Association - Austin Chapter, Concordia University Alumni Association, ACF's Hispanic Impact Fund and Texas Education Foundation Network Conference Council. She also served as the 2010 Chair of the See Jane Give Luncheon a program of I Live Here I Give Here, 2016 President of the Concordia Alumni Association and the 2021 Chair of Somos Austin, an initiative of the Austin Community Foundation. Born and raised in El Paso, TX, Linda earned her Bachelor's from the University of Texas at El Paso & Master's in Education with Honors from Concordia University in Austin. She's a proud graduate of Leadership RRISD 2022, Leadership Austin Essential 2009, Hispanic Austin Leadership 2008 and Leadership Austin Emerge.
