  Linda Dekker is a Currently, I'm a visiting research scholar at Tufts University, Boston, USA. I am an assistant professor at the Erasmus University, department of Clinical Psychology. I am the founder of the Rotterdam Autism Consortium (R.A.C.), a founding member of the Erasmus Love Lab (ELL) and a member of the EUR network Peer Relations Researchers (PRR-EUR). Research interests: (psycho)sexuality, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), adolescence, sexual violence, sexuality & modern media, informant discrepancies. My current research focuses on two main themes, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and sexuality. I have several projects on sexuality in which I investigate correlates to both perpetrator and victimhood and/or investigate sexual development and communication in adolescents. In addition, I am working on several projects regarding autism, for example, psychosexual functioning (using the Teen Transition Inventory) and gender issues. With the R.A.C., I acquired a grant from ZonMw to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on families with children with ASD. We are currently in the process of sharing our findings. Next to my research, my current teaching responsibilities focus on coordinating a practical on "Couple therapy and sexuality" (MSc), next to supervising clinical and research internships, and being a trainer in other clinical practicals (e.g. "CBT 1"). In addition, I provide guest lectures and supervise Local2Global research projects and Honour students. In 2019 I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis entitled "Tackling Teenage: Psychosexual functioning in adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)" at the Erasmus MC - Sophia Children's Hospital.
