Early in my career, I worked with a Latin American non-profit organization helping local farmers and indigenous communities maintain their farming rights from the influence of large corporations. Putting the needs of farmers into policy and ensuring that the world protects disadvantaged communities, is at the core of my mission. I hold a Master of Arts in Global Environmental Politics, a Bachelor of Art in Biology and Conservation. I studied the regulation of biotechnology and agriculture in Norway.
