At hubX, he designed and developed all aspects of the application architecture including PMS integration, booking engines, call center applications, and administration and content management tools. After SynXis acquired hubX in 2004, Lew continued in his role and was instrumental in the transition to SynXis's RedX platform. In 2015 his role expanded to implement larger chains and OTAs, including successfully launching the Instant Booking connectivity for Booking.com. In 2016, Lew joined the Distribution Strategy Team at IHG to oversee connectivity and manage relationships with connectivity automation partners. In 2021 he transitioned to the vendor side and is currently the Vice President of Enterprise Distribution at Amadeus Hospitality Solutions overseeing connectivity to online distribution sites and on property systems. Throughout his career, Lew has been actively involved in multiple hospitality organizations - including the OpenTravel Alliance (Board member, chair Hospitality Workgroup), HTNG (chair Governance Council, chair Product Distribution Workgroup) and HEDNA (Secretary, Board member, chair Metasearch Workgroup, author of Connectivity Workgroup and Metasearch Workgroup whitepapers) - to further efficient inventory distribution and industry standardization.
