Leslie has received numerous awards for her pastel drawings and her work is in both private and public collections. She exhibited in a solo exhibit at the Governor’s Gallery at the Oklahoma Capitol, Oklahoma City, OK and was invited twice to show at the American Art in Miniature Show at the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, OK. Leslie has been teaching drawing and painting for over 20 years and is the founder and principle instructor of The Conservatory For Classical Art, a private studio school in Edmond, OK where she teaches drawing and painting in the classical tradition to both children and adults. Leslie and her son, Seth Capshaw, invented two innovative, patent pending tools that prove to remedy many of the obstacles artists encounter. She developed The View Frame and shortly after, developed the Miira mobile app for iPhone.
