I work with the developers on my squad to review their code and unit tests for coverage and identify functional tests that are needed. I have worked in a TDD environment where I worked with the developers to identify unit and functional tests and documented them in the acceptance criteria for the stories. Before becoming an automation engineer, I was a software developer for more than 20 years. The primary languages I have used are C, C++, C#, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript. Also have experience with Protractor JS with Jasmine, Cucumber, Cucumber JS , Jest, Jest-Cucumber, Specflow and Selenium Test tools. I have experience with both UI and API automated testing along with automated accessibility testing using tools like WAVE, Jaws, NVDA, and Axe. I held a security clearance in the past when working as a developer for various contractors.
