Lee Bowers Email & Phone Number | I earned an Associate of Applied Science in Database administration from Southern Crescent Technical College, where I found a passion for cybersecurity. I have taken any opportunity to work and/or increase my knowledge of cyber security and best practices. I have worked for the last 3+ years in a technology specialist role in education, where I was a Google administrator, domain level admin, and set up and maintained our Cisco Firepower. I worked directly in Active Directory and Group Policy to balance functionality and and security within our school system. Prior to leaving Butts County, I was working with networking and systems to set and maintain our cybersecurity framework, using NIST as our guidelines. I am driven to continue my education and experience in networking and cybersecurity. I have recently started to work toward acquiring both network+ and security+ certification. My goals in cybersecurity are to assist individuals or organizations to mitigate cyber threats through best practices and proactive measures to find vulnerabilities before they become an incident.
