Leanne Laughton is a As a Sustainability, Approvals and Environmental Manager, Leanne has 19 years' experience working on major infrastructure projects from bid stage, feasibility stage, concept design, environmental assessment and planning, detailed design and construction phases. Leanne brings international experience on some of Europe's largest infrastructure projects as well as Australian experience on major civil projects. Leanne's expertise both technically and as an environmental project manager, has been developed through the diversity of projects which have included mass haul earthworks, tunnelling, roads, utilities, rail, bridges, waste to energy, culverts, underpasses, buildings, waste to energy facilities and windfarms. Leanne is also a trained ISO 14001 auditor and has extensive experience auditing, developing and implementing company and project Environmental Management Systems. On a broader scale Leanne has lead and delivered sustainability assessments on multiple large infrastructure projects and has undertaken ISAP training under ISCA. Leanne is also a trainer having delivered environmental and sustainability training at a corporate, site and university level. Leanne also developed company carbon strategies in the UK including reporting and participated in Circular Economy working groups across the UK construction industry. Leanne is passionate about using behavioural change, engagement at all levels and embedding environment and sustainability into company and project systems to constantly evolve and improve the overall performance.
