I obtained my Juris Doctor degree from the School of Law of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico with honors, being the first generation in my family to study law. Previously, I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus, where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences with a concentration in Sociology, Magna Cum Laude and with the Recognition of the Highest Average in the Concentration. In the legal area, I have worked as a Paralegal and Community Advocate in non-profit organizations, aimed at providing legal advocacy services, guidance and legal representation services, as well as psychological and social services, to victims of domestic and/or sexual violence.
