While still in school I started for the City of Cape Coral as a laborer with my eye on a CAD position. I interviewed and was promoted a short time later and began working under an awesome long board drafter. What I know today about linework is all due to his mentorship. I continued at Edison College until graduating in 2006 and 2007 with an AS is Drafting & Design Technology and an AA in General Studies. My kids are grown and I'm a Grandmother who still looks to further my educations someday, hopefully in the Graphic Arts and Design.
