Sustainability is still close to my heart, and one of my primary aims in this role is to guide clients toward a sustainable future. This means focusing on green alternatives to classic lending, investing, energy-saving, housing and – of course – mobility. We live in exciting times, both in the banking sector and in the wider world. I’m particularly excited about the digital revolution that’s transforming the way customers interact with their bank. By deploying services like the Easy Banking App and Hello bank!, my team and I are working hard to ensure digitisation brings positive outcomes in terms of accessibility and inclusivity. My hope is that these new digital banking relationships help clients move efficiently and affordably. Digitisation is the future, but we can't lose sight of the human aspect of our work. Digital tools are great, but retail banking is and should remain for and by people. For this reason, I am committed to identifying and celebrating the small changes that make a big difference in people’s lives. I’m spending a lot of time on the road, getting to know our customer base so I can better understand and respond to their needs. It’s great to be able to see how our clients – and potential clients – operate in the real world. I’ve been inspired by the many success stories I’ve seen, and I can’t wait to work together with my colleagues to transform these insights into even better products and services in the future.
