I am a citizen of the Cheyenne River Lakota Tribe, growing up in He Sapa (Black Hills) located in South Dakota, USA. Being a multi- sport athlete since adolescence, I entered the competitive sporting world in 2013, and have been fortunate to obtain unique life skills and attributes that come from being involved in a high level team sport. Through my time as an athlete I've received multiple achievements, accolades, and milestones: --USA Collegiate National Team Athlete USA pipeline for Women's Volleyball National Team season 2015 and 2016. -University of San Diego Owen Mullen Service Award The Owen Mullen Service Award honors a Torero who is making significant contributions to their community through their time, action, talent, dedication and services -All-American Honorable Mention NCAA Division I volleyball All American honors -AVCA All Pacific Region South Team NCAA Division 1 Regional team honors -West Coast Conference Volleyball First Team NCAA Division 1 All conference first team honors -2x Silver Medalist Coupe de France / League A Championship Sport has always showcased my passion and dedication towards competitiveness but what i'm most thankful for is the platform it gave me to speak on issues that are important to me. My main focus and emphasis in my work is my advocacy for Missing Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls, indigenous representation, and youth programs. I am deeply rooted in where I come from and how as an individual I impact those around me. My goal is to continue to learn, grow, and work towards creating lasting and positive change for myself and others.
