Customer service began at a young age when she delivered fresh towels to all of the cabins at Inkaneep Point Resort with her Grandmother. Her main focus in her career has been, and always will be keeping customers happy. After throwing in the towels (pun intended) she branched out into the customer service industry by working in the local super market, attending university studying Interdisciplinary Design Studies (IDDS), along with working at Earls restaurant. She then worked for four years with AeroInfo Systems - A Boeing Company. She met many wonderful people and learned a lot about management and understanding people throughout her time there. This lead her to have a full understanding on how to make a business successful. In 2012 she moved to Canada's wine country to help run her husband's family winery. After successfully getting Road 13 Vineyards to #1 in Canada in 2018 with her husband, she has now taken on the full time role as mother to their daughter Farley. Farley has been the biggest inspiration to Laura for coming up with adventures and stories before bedtime. Many of which have made the stories come to life in her children's books. Her goals are forever changing, but never go unfinished.
