While I formally began my career in the financial services industry in 2007, my introduction to finance came from growing up in West Texas next door to a first-generation grandmother who bought and sold livestock for a living. This was an invaluable experience, teaching me at a very early age the fundamentals of a market exchange. I hold a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a focus in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Texas at El Paso. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I first began my career in the financial services industry in 2007 when I became a licensed financial advisor, earning my Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. My background in wealth management includes gaining experience and professional development with institutions including the Global Wealth Group at BBVA and most recently as a Senior Vice President in Wealth Management with Merrill Lynch in Dallas. I am currently on the Board of Directors of the Parkland Hospital Foundation, a Board of Director of Dallas Architectural Forum, and I am a member of Texas Wall Street Women. I love to play golf, to travel, keep physically active and spend time outdoors. Most of all, I love personal relationships and the opportunity to develop deep and lifelong relationships. I am bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.
