Laura’s marketing interests extend beyond her role at Scotiabank. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian not-for-profit Children’s Aid Foundation and a current member of their brand and marketing advisory committee and currently a member of the Hot Docs board. Additionally, she mentors emerging entrepreneurs through NEXT Canada's NEXT 36 and NEXT Founders including four women-led entrepreneurial companies over the past two years. She was the Co-Chair of the Right to Play 2022 Heroes Gala which raised a record amount in one night.
