MY BACKGROUND My diverse background includes seven years in the nonprofit sector, eleven years in education, and two years in marketing and content creation at the local and national levels (including organic SEO). Did I mention that I was a river guide and ski bum—actually I snowboard, so I guess that makes me a snowboard bum. At any rate, that's where I developed my knack for creative storytelling and clear communication. MY EDUCATION I have a B.S. Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder, an M.Ed. Education from Northern Arizona University, and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Writing from Northern Arizona University. (I am also a Certified Professional Resume Writer through the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches and a Certified SEO Copywriter through the SEO Content Institute, although these days, my focus is primarily on manuscripts and books).
