In March 2020 I became the Executive Director, which includes the duties of Marketing Manager, Operations Manager and Logistics Manager. H.O.P.E. Helping Other People Everywhere Ottawa Carleton Inc, has been around since 1982, I started as a volunteer in 1993 and fell in love with the volunteer driven organization. The organization has at this time 1 major event, the Worlds Largest, Charity Volleyball tournament and Music Festival, called HOPE Volleyball SummerFest. Over the past 42 years H.O.P.E. has had other smaller events that has raised money for local charities, like HOPE at the Hop, The HOPE Concert series, HOPE Dominican Republic, HOPE Halifax, HOPE Bathurst New Brunswick, and HOPE Volleyball WinterFest. The main SummerFest event, HOPE Volleyball SummerFest has raised over 4 million dollars for over 200 local charities over the years, something I am very proud to be a part of for over 32 years.
