Additionally, relationship building is one of my greatest strengths and the aspect that I enjoy most about being a leader. Data driven decisions insure that we choose wisely with the information that we have. Tech and process will always improve and advance, so there must be an intentional plan for quality. Improving quality is a multi-step journey with no end. Iterative, honest self-evaluation by a team will yield continuous improvement when done thoughtfully and with care. Lastly, I have been a champion of test automation for many years. Test automation must be a foundational part of strategy for any successful test team. My teams at Lockheed Martin, Morneau Shepell, LifeWorks and TELUS Health have all been very successful in developing and implementing test automation integrated within CI/CD and product lifecycles. This automation drove down the need for repetitive manual tasks and increased quality and efficiency over time. This process in turn improves software reliability and customer satisfaction.
