Larissa Gopaul Email & Phone Number | I completed my RGN training at Riverside College of Health Studies which then became Thames Valley University in 1994. I then gained experience working on the G.I. surgical floor of the London Clinic, before training as an ITU nurse at Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton. This department relocated to Kingston Hospital and I worked there for four years before taking a career break to have my children. I did my RTP Nursing Course at Kingston University in 2018 and began working at Parkside Private Hospital on the medical oncology floor and the surgical floor. I also gained a great deal of experience in administering I.V. drugs and looking after patients post operatively. I then went onto work in the Pre-Assessment department, where I stayed for two more years. I now work in the Occupational Health Department at British Airways, doing screening tests for Safety Critical Medicals, on Pilots, Cabin Crew and below wing crew. It is a busy work environment and I have experience with multi-tasking and assessing people for signs of ill health, or work related ill health. I possess good organisational skills and am happy to work autonomously and as part of a team.
