Participated in an intensive training program to develop the skills and knowledge needed to achieve significant gains in student achievement. Taught in a summer school program run by Teach For America for students in Memphis public schools under the supervision of a faculty of experienced teachers. Engaged in a comprehensive program of professional development including seminars, discussion groups, workshops, cultural competency courses and content/professional learning communities specific to license areas. ● Created a portfolio of all lesson plans, curriculum maps, reflections, videos of class, grades and more to demonstrate my work and ability to self reflect and improve.
