BMX was a huge part of my life for many years, building jumps and quarterpipes from borrowed plywood led to driving Jeeps and other machines on land, snow, water, and jumping out of some perfectly good airplanes. As with many "lifehackers", I’ve experimented, designed, taken apart, and fixed things, including myself and many others, using my own combination of tools and methods. Over the last 20 years I’ve gravitated toward representing manufacturers of cutting-edge innovation to government, corporate and private sector, selling, preaching, and teaching emerging wellness modalities and technologies, collaboration with and learning from thousands of customers, world-class athletes, trainers, doctors, and technical specialists. Being a veteran of the fitness equipment industry, my forte is understanding the function of the equipment, from it's biomechanics to it's aesthetics, mechanical endurance, user-friendliness, and functionality. I typically teach the buyers, trainers, athletes, beginners, and anyone in between, how the gear works, and also how to train or recover. I have always gravitated toward ignoring the known rules, refusing to simply accept the way things are because everything we know and were taught was introduced to us by another human, therefore it's possibly false.
