I was part of the Product Site and Support Road Show, where we were going to other segments and presenting what we did for our job. I have also led a team learning where we went over the importance of good communication. For this activity, I took a picture book and gave everyone on the team random pictures.The team had to work together by using effective communication to piece the whole story together in sequential order. This allowed my team members to use the communcation skills that they had learned and apply them in a effective manner. I have also had the privilege of being a temporary team lead at Target for both the meat department and the sporting goods/home improvement departments. While I was in those roles I made schedules for team members, wrote reviews, communicated with vendors and built many end caps. I grew as a leader while I was in these positions and I feel that they have helped me become a better leader overall. I was also a team trainer for the grocery department for 6 years. In this position, I was responsible for training every new employee in that department. Thru my dedication at Target in various areas of the store I believe that I have the capability of providing high quality training to team members here at PayPal.
