After a year and a half, I was promoted to the role of Seed Quality Supervisor, continuing ownership of the lab as well as taking on a broader quality role across the site as well as leading a network of Production Associates and SQS's within the organization. Following this role, I took a role as a Field Production Manager at the soybean Foundation plant in Redwood Falls, MN. While in this role, I oversaw all field operations, including contracting with 50+ growers and ensuring we delivered a premium product to our pipeline. While in this role I had eight direct reports who I was entrusted to assist in their professional development. In 2019, I was selected to be apart of the LEPSI project, which was designed to transition and rebuild the SAP operating system from a custom platform designed for Monsanto, and adapt to the requirements set forth by Bayer Crop Science. This required a substantial amount of time traveling and in strategic meetings that demanded a specific completion date to deliver to the business. This project took me all over the United States as well as multiple trips to Bayer's headquarters in Leverkusen and Monheim Germany. Following the launch of Lepsi in 2020, I was asked to take a role as a site Production Lead at the Foundation soybean plant in Matthews, MO. I have been in this role now for just over three years and enjoy the challenge. In this role I oversee all plant operations for both the Commercial and Foundation sites. This includes people development, meeting set goals and deadlines for delivering the correct product to the designated customer, managing capital investments, site budgets, and working with diverse business partners and tollers across the southern US, Puerto Rico, and Uruguay.
