Developed Roadway's Build to Suit lease program in the 1990's to fast-track smaller/medium sized construction projects to meet or exceed management's expectations. Managed all the leasing/land & build-to-suit responsibilities for the real estate activities of over 600 facilities though out the U.S. and Canada. Lastly, while in the corporate arena, I handled the entire management of Roadway Global Air new openings in 1993. Opened a total of 72 new locations (two wave openings) all done efficiently and in a timely matter. After leaving Roadway Kurt Stewart, Inc. created the Build-to-Suit lease program for American Freightways/FedEx Freight and provided the company with 16 Build-to-Suit Lease facilities from 1999 through 2006 ranging from 24-doors to a 101-door terminal. Also, opened up several new state territories for AF/FedEx Freight including Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island. Have and continue to work with various LTL trucking clients though the past & present which have included FedEx Freight, Dayton Freight Lines, A Duie Pyle, TFI International, Central Transport, R&L Carriers, etc.
