I completed a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature at the University of Toronto in May 2014. My current research interests include autobiographical writing, text-image relationship, trauma and healing, gender studies, visual culture, intermediality, video game studies, language acquisition, and pedagogy. My doctoral thesis is tentatively called "Photographic Hybridity and Intimacy: Text-Image Relationship in Contemporary Autobiographical Narratives." My supervisor is Prof. Julie LeBlanc. I have been the Course Instructor (CI) for 11 courses in the French department at the University of Toronto and at the Centre for French and Linguistics at the University of Toronto Scarborough, a Teaching Assistant (TA) for 2 courses, and a Research Assistant (RA) for seven professors (Julie LeBlanc, Geeta Beeharry Paray, Atsuko Sakaki, Alison Syme, Barbara Havercroft, William Samarin, Corinne Denoyelle), cumulating a total of over 350 hours of work for them. I have published one article entitled "La femme cachée sous son sexe : L'identité onomastique et les masques dans l'œuvre de Nelly Arcan" in Nelly Arcan : Trajectoires fulgurantes at Éditions Remue-Ménage. I have presented papers and given talks in English and in French at a great number (15+) of international congresses and conferences (ACLA, NeMLA, APFUCC, ACFAS, etc.)
