Whether you're a farmer, local authority, school, hospital, estate or another type of landowner, or an agent representing a client, there will be an opportunity for tree planting somewhere, in one form or another. 🌲 If you're a farmer, tree planting can improve soil quality across your farm, provide shade and shelter for livestock, can be used to improve bio-security on the farm by reducing nose to nose contact, can be designed to complement farm businesses such as fencing off a gully to reduce effort of gathering stock or to reduce ammonia emissions from barns (hedges and woodlands) and can intercept surface water flows across farmland and improve compliance to farm certification schemes. 🌳 Local authorities may be interested in finding ways to protect communities from flooding downstream or improving air quality, all the while, improving the amenity value of town centres (and increasing property values) as well as positively impacting residents' well-being. 🌱 Schools can get children interested and engaged with nature with an experience like tree-planting providing a positive interaction with the natural world. 🌎 And with the Woodland Carbon Code and BNG, there are good, long term options for financing tree planting projects into the future. 🪵 And not to mention the potential income from timber that a well managed woodland can provide!
