She’s been in the industry since 1990 when she started as a vacation and corporate agent in the town of Sitka, Alaska. At that time, she was also the USCG Ombudsman for Air Station Sitka. This involved serving as liaison between enlisted families and the command in regards to abusive situations and other family matters that may impact the enlisted personnel and family. Upon her departure from AK, with her husband at the time, Kristin received a plaque in her honor for her service to the USCG with most of the base in attendance. While her main focus has been on a career in travel, she fulfilled a few small jobs between the births of her 2 sons. This involved tutoring children/adults all the way from grade school to Calculus. She was also an umbrella teacher for a homeschool organization. Along with this, Kristin gave guitar/vocal lessons. She has been the manager of a AAA Travel Agency who not only had the USCG contract, but renegotiated and won it once up for bid again. Kristin traveled to all AAA agencies to train on government policies, how to book Gov travel, per diem, handling the travel orders of enlisted members and officers as well as contractors. Being a USCG wife, she took her role seriously. Kristin has been a travel trainer for the Apollo, Worldspan and Sabre GDS, account manager, quality control lead, back office accountant, scriptwriter and for many years, with 2 different agencies, a VIP agent for the top executives of major sports franchises, entertainment industries, pharmaceutical companies and more. She strives to achieve excellence and efficiency in everything she does, but with a demeanor that translates to the client that she’s not only competent, but caring. Kristin obtained her Bachelors's of Science in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude with Liberty University at a 4.0, and is enrolled in the Masters of Science in Accounting with Strayer University. On the side, she’s a National Weather Service Advanced Storm Spotter and serves on the Mount Holly NWS Advisory Board for the Delmarva region. She tries to take at least one week per year to travel, serve and help rebuild homes in areas ravaged by tornadoes. Kristin is extremely passionate about addiction recovery and serves as Co-Chair of the alumni board for Recovery Centers of America Bracebridge Hall and volunteers for atTAck addiction. Her hobbies include making music with her guitar and voice, running, crocheting and camping. Kristin was also a Praise and Worship leader for many years.
