She has a positive personality which she uses to help encourage the people around her. Her father once told her "a dream without a plan is only a wish." So, she doesn't wish on stars. Kristen plans to pursue and make her dreams come true. Kristen is currently working for the family business. She is learning the what is to be a successful business owner. Right now, she is learning about every single product that is fabricated in house and what is imported. Kristen has sole custody of the company's new marketing platform. She has created a call to action, that is sure to connect with the community and bring in new business. She is creating and in charge of posting all content through several different medias. Kristen is also a strong advocate for the Spinal Muscular Atrophy community. She took part in adding SMA to Texas Newborn Screening helping hundreds of babies get diagnosed and treated before symptoms progressed. Kristen has advocated for research at the state and federal level. She has a strong passion to seek positive change in the disability community.
