In both my previous roles, I introduced a succession plan in which I was able to identify emerging leaders and equip them to continue to develop professionally. This plan included an emphasis on not just talent replacement, but talent multiplication, where I encouraged employees to coach and mentor employees of their own, thus developing their own succession plans.
