I conducted remote and in-person moderated usability testing, in-depth interviews, and contextual inquiry to improve the design decisions of Google Nest products and services. Even before this, my work in the past has gone deep into Social Capital, Social Participation, Labor Market outcomes of Immigrants and Ethnic groups, Status of Immigrant Women in Canada, Homelessness, Complicated Grief, Development of Professional Identity among Medical students, among other things. I love to unpack motivations behind human behavior and finding & including their stories while conducting foundational, generative, and evaluative research. My background in Sociology enables me to apply a holistic and interdisciplinary perspective to UX research.
