Until recently, I worked in Seoul, South Korea for an F&B M&A project and prior to this project, I worked for a Brunei company to set-up up the Integrated Inspection Services business with Brunei Shell (with 7 million bank facilities); negotiate and successfully wind-up the joint venture in Myanmar. Colleagues know me to be a resourceful and reliable person, able to think out of the box to resolve business issues. For example, in one of the companies I work with, we were facing permanent establishment tax exposure risk in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam. While we were unable to set up independent entities (cost constraint) in these countries, I managed to work out a hybrid company structure to reduce our tax risk exposure from high to low. I am a Fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom (FCCA), Degree in Business from La Trobe University, MSc (Skills & Workforce Development), Cardiff University, and Specialist Diplomas in Business Analytics and Applied Learning and Teaching from Republic Polytechnic. Now I am pursuing the Specialist Diploma in Healthy Ageing and Community Care for Seniors at Republic Polytechnic.
