My passion is working with people, helping and supporting them where I can Currently, I am very involved in our area, helping the Retirement Village residents to understand the internet and helping with internet-related problems, even DIY issues in their homes. My Biggest Talent: 1) I am a people person, who can quickly sum up a situation and determine the next step to follow to make a decision that is still profitable for the company 2) I Build Trust and respect and therefore work very well as part of a team 3) Get systems and processes in place for our teams to know what is expected of them and as a result, everyone works towards the same goal High Lights of my Career: 1) Was involved with the set-up of Telecoms to the South African Antarctic base and visited the base in 1997 2) During the Kosovo war, I was part of a team to get Voice and Data communications up for the United Nation Teams inside the war zone. I worked out of Italy for this project 3) A variety of projects in Angola to get the war-torn communities into the national telecom grid 4) 5 Years as an Operation Manager in Tanzania for an Internet over Satellite provider.
