My skillset has grown from all-things-IT related, to Operations, Project Management, Sales, Marketing, Event Planning, and Logistics. As the Executive Officer of a non-profit company, I have faced the challenges of economic downturn head-on, generating new revenue sources and increasing profitability and outreach. I used my experience as the owner of a strategic planning company to think outside the box and creatively provide value to the members of the association. I believe in forming strong alliances with businesses and individuals to ensure my clients receive the best pricing, services and commitment. My company's success comes of focusing on the client's needs. Much like physical therapy after an injury, our goal is to help, train and equip our clients to progress without us. While many companies focus on remaining "needed", we focus on helping businesses strengthen their independence. As our community has been faced with the economic constraints of the COVID pandemic, I have sought ways to use this hunker-down time to promote local businesses. I recently created a new dba, In8 Identity, to take the skills I have honed over the years and put them to good use for others. I have a new-found love for the design work of branding and marketing and have proudly branded/rebranded quite a few companies, delivering logo design to full website roll-out with social media, marketing and SEO. While this is not my professional background, I dare say my love of art and literature in my formative years has truly influenced my creative side. I am a very successful event coordinator, holding the largest trade show on the Kenai Peninsula. My first Home Show garnered the largest profitability and attendance in the show's 40-year history. I come to the table with a fresh outlook on how to best deliver what vendors need and attendees want. I believe success comes from proper planning, level-headed problem-mitigation, and a keen ability to always deliver more than expected. I want to inspire others to step outside the proverbial box, and contemplate methods beyond the conventional to improve not just productivity, but working relationships amongst staff, clients and the public. And if we can work hard/play hard...all the better. I didn't get here doing the minimum quietly. I won't progress accepting the minimum quietly. I appreciate loud wisdom and encourage open communication, for so little is accomplished without it.
