I currently work as a data scientist at Caris Life Sciences to help develop molecular signatures underlying precision medicine efforts in oncology. My long-term goal is to improve patient outcomes by using data to better characterize disease biology and enhance detection and treatment efforts. I am also passionate about outreach and mentorship and have served as a coordinator for the UW Genomics for Minorities Project and as an instructor for high school and undergraduate students in Phoenix, Arizona and in Oaxaca, Mexico as part of the Clubes de Ciencia initiative.
