Responsibilities: -Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent mechanical malfunction -Make repairs when equipment fails unexpectedly -Interact with on-site personnel -Using visual cues, computer software programs and diagnostic tools, conduct routine or scheduled inspections of machines and equipment -Test equipment using measuring devices, such as multi-meters, as well as other devices to determine whether parts or assemblies are faulty -Troubleshoot and solve issues -Clean, replace or install parts to maintain smooth operation of machinery and equipment -Gather pertinent data from all functions such as application engineering, service and the customer experiences to be able to propose a solution(s) or remedy for the intervention -Create detailed technical reports that include: the issue, possible solutions, or solution that succeeded Gained Experience In: -Viva software operator environment -Diagnostic chain of equipment -Interaction between software functional and mechanical system -Diagnostic, utility, and self-test software protocols and usage -In circuit testing -Functional testing -Service part numbers -In house software tools to monitor customer contracts and interventions -Ability to provide suggested spares list -Ability to work in a dynamic environment where priorities often change. Developed a program to graph and calibrate MEMS and CMOS sensor data. Developed a Microsoft Excel VBA macros to graph calibration curves of the sensors. Designed ozone cleaning medical chamber prototype with SolidWorks.
